For Healthcare and Community Professionals

Supporting Patient Wellbeing Through Nature Connection

I welcome conversations with GPs, social prescribers, mental health practitioners and other healthcare professionals interested in exploring nature-based approaches to wellbeing.

What is Forest Therapy?

Forest Therapy is a research-based practice that supports mental and physical health through guided immersion in nature. Sessions are designed to reduce stress, lower blood pressure, improve mood, and enhance overall wellbeing.

Unlike simply spending time outdoors, Forest Therapy involves a carefully structured sequence of sensory invitations, creating space for participants to slow down, engage with their surroundings and experience nature in a more intentional way.

Session Options

Group Sessions: Regular time in local woodlands, parks and nature reserves across Lancashire

1-to-1 Sessions: Tailored support for individual service users with specific needs

Corporate Wellbeing: Sessions for healthcare teams and staff wellbeing programmes

Trauma-Informed Approach

All sessions are delivered with a trauma-informed, inclusive approach, with particular experience supporting women through perimenopause, neurodivergent individuals, and survivors of trauma and abuse.
